A misdemeanor or felony charge or conviction is a serious matter. If one has been arrested or convicted of a crime, it is important to seek proper legal representation as a first step. Criminal law and legal proceedings are complex and should be handled by a reputable defense attorney who knows how to navigate the legal system. Our firm’s attorneys understand that every criminal law situation requires thorough and aggressive representation. We also understand that clients may be feeling fear and uncertainty, and as such we advise our clients about their rights and available legal options.

If you have been charged with any of the following crimes, Attorney Maloles and the other experienced criminal defense attorneys at her firm can help as follows:

  • Driving Under the Influence – DUI – whether drug or alcohol related
  • Robbery or theft
  • Sexual offense – sexual assault or rape, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse (IDSI) child pornography, Internet sex crime, sex with a minor, molestation, prostitution
  • Drug crime – possession, possession with intent to deliver, distribution, manufacturing
  • Domestic abuse/domestic violence
  • Assault – simple, aggravated, assault with a deadly weapon, assault and battery, felony assault
  • Probation or parole violation

Our office fights hard to obtain the best possible result for our clients. In those cases where a nonviolent first offense has been committed, we advocate to protect client’s rights and, when feasible, seek resolution of the case through Accelerative Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD).

Accelerative Rehabilitative Disposition is an alternative to going to trial that allows the criminal defendant to serve his or her sentence outside of jail, usually by performing community service. The intent of ARD is to intervene and take positive, rehabilitative steps with a defendant. Successful completion of the ARD program may also lead to expungement of the arrest from the defendant’s record.

If you are seeking quality legal representation for a DUI offense, drug offense, or other criminal charge or conviction in Montgomery County, Delaware County, or anywhere in Southeastern PA, contact Attorney Kathleen Maloles immediately at 215.600.1362. Our attorneys work hard to obtain the most favorable outcome possible and make sure our clients are fully informed and prepared to make the best decisions for their future.
